My newborn photography sessions in Glasgow take place in your home, using natural light and a calm, baby-led approach.Your home is already enough. You don’t need perfect light. You don’t need a perfect space.I’m not photographing your house. I’m photographing your life — exactly as it is.

Anytime within the first few weeks — there is no “perfect” day.
Studio newborn photographers state that the best time for newborn portraits is in the first two weeks of a baby’s life. However, I don’t pose babies in baskets or other accessories. My newborn photography concentrates on real emotions and true connection and with no doubt, those types of images can be captured at any time in the first 2 months from birth. Your newborn photography session shouldn’t take longer than 2 hours. However, the session is baby-led so if we need more time that’s ok with me.
I absolutely love to capture whole families. Parents, siblings, grandparents and even your pets are welcome.
The first few weeks with your newborn baby are exciting, beautiful, and full of innocence absolutely love all at once. Tiny fists, little hands, scrunched-up noses, wrinkled necks, and angelic sleepiness. A total miracle. Real treasure.
You will be surprised at how quickly your newborn baby grows and changes every single day. They are only this tiny for such a short time. So, it is important to have those amazing moments captured. The newborn baby photography is all about capturing those first weeks and holding this time for lifetime.

Personally, I believe there is no better place for family photography with newborn babies than in the comfort and privacy of your own house.
Why choose an in-home photo shoot instead of a studio full of props and accessories and concentrated on baby poses?
IN-HOME CHILD PHOTOGRAPHY – comfortable, convenient, and stress-free.
You can avoid the hustle of getting ready and travelling. You may simply snuggle on the couch with your little one or have a little lay down in your bedroom. You have access to all accessories you might need within reach of your hands. Nappies, wipes, snacks, changing clothes and favourite toys.
Your house is a perfect warm environment with wide background options. Without rushing, you have time for feeding or when the baby is sleepy you don’t have to change your routines.
Lifestyle baby photography is my greatest passion. I absolutely love visiting fresh parents with my camera when welcoming newborns. Created beautiful images full of precious moments in a few years’ time become the most treasured forever photographs in your family album.
As a mummy of three, I know the value of natural images. Images displaying pride glazes and gentle gestures which are the essence of parenthood. Your beautiful emotional reality as it is.
Being photographed may seem to be stressful but it’s in many ways an easier and more pleasant experience than you think. My job as a portrait photographer is to put to ease and make the posing for portraits as natural as possible.

YOUR BEAUTIFUL EVERYDAY ORDINARY IN RELAXED AND NATURAL STYLE
During my newborn photography sessions, I blend lifestyle and documentary styles of photography. I won’t ask you to stiff pose and make smiles. But I do give some advice during the shoot in terms of light where you should sit or stand.
My newborn posing is very natural, I don’t use studio props, baskets and studio lamps.
At the same time, I’m looking for the natural, spontaneous moments that occur. I want to capture the way you truly interact with your sweet babies to reflect the love and joy you feel during this very special part of your life.
You may think your family house is not the place for a photoshoot. But believe me, there is no place I cannot photograph beautiful love-filled images. I just need you and your precious baby, relaxing on the couch and some rays of natural light.
I’ll guide you through the whole experience and we will discuss all details prior to the session. As soon as you book your shoot, I’ll provide you with guides which help you to get ready for it. If you wish to see the whole step-by-step family photography process check here.
As my diary fills quickly and to avoid disappointment, I recommend booking your baby’s photography during pregnancy. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee late availability although it does happen, so do simply drop me a message to check!
