Natural, baby-led newborn photography in the comfort of your home in Glasgow and the surrounding areas
For families who want to remember how it felt — not just how it looked.
Trusted by over 400 families across Glasgow and Scotland with more than 100 five-star Google reviews.
Most parents worry about the same things before a newborn session.
What if the baby doesn’t settle? What if the house is a mess? What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
And honestly, none of that is a problem.
You may be running on very little sleep. Feeding might still feel unpredictable. Getting everyone dressed and ready may already feel like enough for one morning.
You don’t need to prepare a “perfect” version of your family for these photographs.
The feeds, the cuddles, the tired mornings, the tiny pauses and the way your baby settles in your arms are already enough.
This is for families who don’t want their newborn photographs to feel staged or overly posed.
Not perfect. Not performed. Just your family, at the very beginning of this new chapter.
NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE IN GLASGOW
Your newborn session takes place in the comfort of your own home, using soft natural light and a relaxed, baby-led approach. There is no expectation for your baby to sleep through the session or follow a particular routine. We simply work around what your baby needs on the day.
Most newborn sessions last around 1.5–2 hours, giving us plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling whenever needed.
I’ll gently guide you throughout the session, so you never need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. Most of the time, I’m simply looking for the small interactions that already happen naturally between you.
Parents, siblings and family pets are always welcome to be part of the photographs.
Baby-led simply means that your baby sets the pace.
I don’t expect newborns to sleep on cue or place them into a series of poses. Most of the time, your baby will be in your arms, being cuddled, fed, changed or simply held in the way you naturally hold them every day.
If your baby needs a break, we take one. If they are awake, that’s absolutely fine. If they need feeding or settling, we give them the time they need.
I’ll gently guide you into good light and help with small adjustments, but the connection and interaction between you stay real.
These photographs are created gently and naturally in the homes of families across Glasgow and Scotland
— focused on connection, emotion and the beauty of everyday moments with your baby.
For many families, staying at home simply makes those first weeks easier.
There is no need to pack everything for your baby, travel to a studio or worry about arriving somewhere at a particular time. You can feed, change and settle your baby in the place where you already feel most comfortable.
Your home also becomes part of the story. The bedroom where you spend slow mornings together, the nursery you prepared before your baby arrived, or simply the sofa where most of the cuddles happen.
You don’t need a large or perfectly styled home. I work with the light and spaces you already have and gently guide you towards the places that photograph best.
It means your newborn photographs are not only about how tiny your baby was, but also about what everyday life looked like when they first came home.
You get in touch and we choose a date that works around your due date or your baby’s arrival.
A £59 deposit secures your booking and is deducted from the final price of your chosen collection.
I guide you on everything you need to prepare, including what to wear and how the session will work.
We meet at your home and move at your baby’s pace. After the session, you receive your gallery and choose your collection.
You can get in touch while you’re still pregnant. We don’t need to know the exact date of the session straight away. I usually reserve space around your due date and we confirm the final date once your baby has arrived.
Most newborn sessions take place within the first 2–8 weeks after birth, but there is no strict deadline. Every stage looks a little different, and beautiful photographs can be created with older babies too.

That’s completely fine. Due dates are only a guide, so I always allow flexibility around them. Once your baby arrives, we simply choose a date that works for you and your recovery.

Yes. If I have availability, you can absolutely book after your baby has arrived. You haven’t missed your chance just because your baby is already a few weeks old.
Most newborn sessions last around 1.5–2 hours. This gives us plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling without having to rush.
That is completely normal and never a problem. We pause whenever your baby needs feeding, cuddles, changing or simply some quiet time. There is no pressure to keep photographing through a difficult moment.
Always, yes. You don’t need a large, bright or perfectly styled home. I work with the natural light and spaces you already have and choose the areas that will photograph best.
No deep cleaning or perfect house is needed. We usually only use a few areas, such as the bedroom, living room or nursery, and I’m happy to move small things out of the way if needed.
Yes – absolutely. Your newborn session is about your family, so older children and family pets are very welcome. We simply work around their energy and give them breaks when they need them.

As a mum of three, I know how quickly these first weeks can pass.
I also know that every baby, every parent and every family has a different rhythm. That’s why I don’t follow a fixed formula during newborn sessions.
I pay attention to the small things: when your baby needs a pause, when a toddler needs a little space, when feeding takes longer than expected, or when everyone simply needs a moment to reset.
My job is not to create a version of your family that doesn’t feel like you. It is to notice what is already there and gently guide you so the photographs still feel like you.
That is the part of newborn photography I care about most.
Every family is different.
Some parents want a small collection of photographs from those first weeks, while others want a fuller story with prints and keepsakes.
Whichever collection you choose, you’ll receive the same relaxed, baby-led in-home experience, guidance throughout the session and access to your gallery afterwards.
A simple collection for families who want to keep a smaller selection of photographs from this season.
